If you're using Zero Touch Installation (ZTI) with Systems Management Server 2003 (SMS) to distribute your Vista OS, you'll need to install the following:
- Microsoft Solution Accelerator for Business Desktop Deployment 2007 (BDD)
- Systems Management Server 2003 SP2 or later with the SMS Operating System Deployment Feature Pack
- Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK)
- User State Migration Tool (USMT 3.0), if you're going to save the user's state in order to migrate
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP2, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 SP3a or later, or Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 SP3 or later
- Windows Preinstallation Environment 2004 (WinPE) or WinPE 2005
- Windows XP Professional Edition SP2 (XP Pro)
