Q: Where is the configured language for Multilingual User Interface (MUI) installations stored in the registry?

A: Multilingual User Interface allows multiple language interfaces to be installed on a single OS. For Windows Vista and Windows 7, the language selection for each user is stored in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\PreferredUILanguages.
