Symantec's Norton Ghost won first place, with 40 percent of the votes, and its Ghost Solution Suite won second place, with 35 percent of the votes. Norton Ghost uses disk imaging technology to provide backup and recovery services for individual PCs. Ghost Solution Suite is an enterprisewide imaging solution for managing the entire PC lifecycle, including OS deployment, software distribution, PC migration, and retirement.
