Q. Are there any gadgets to let me wirelessly transmit output from my laptop or slate to a projector, monitor, or TV?

A. I recently got a Windows 7 slate device and wanted to be able to wirelessly connect to a projector for demonstrations, to show what I was doing on the slate. After research, I found the Warpia SWP100A, which works great. Models are available that can connect to external devices using VGA or HDMI.

The SWP100A works by having a USB dongle that connects to your laptop or slate and a receiver device that connects to the display. It includes both video and audio capabilities. I've used the device in large rooms and walked around without problems. The device's specifications say the USB dongle in the computer can be 30 feet from the receiver.

Interesting product and because I'm lazy--what can I expect for a price range since warpia does not list prices but rather only dealers.
