I have VS2005 Sp1 running on vista. I can’t find database project either. My Version 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200) has the Database project type. The "Database" type isn’t listed under J# or C++. However, on my PC a simple one-second select statement in the debugger sends my CPU to 100% for ten plus minutes. Yes that is without any other applications running. Trying to step through a production stored procedure would take a year a this rate.
