I’ve downloaded and installed MSDE as you have suggested. SQL Service is startsup properly and I can create Access projects with MSDE tables. I even get stored procedures! Now, to deploy the MSDE backend on a network drive, does one need the full, commercial version of SQL Server? Can MSDE run as a service on an existinge server box? Thanks.]]>

Does anyone know if one can distribute MSDE itself for free? I have an app that needs MSDE but I am not sure if I am breaking a licensing agreement if I distrubute this app and have MSDE setup include in my install files or if my install program installs MSDE. You’re right on about the "less than" statement causing problems. As a school administrator, I use the less than statment in building Web pages that find students who have failed. I have seen Front Page write more bad code than I care for. If you use the wizard, you have a 50% failure rate. If you write SQL, you have about a 20% failure rate. Thanks.
