Recruiting Through Exclusive Online Communitieshttp://www.windowsitpro.com/article/training-and-certification2/recruiting-through-exclusive-online-communities#commentsAnchorMon, 16 Jun 2008 04:21:00 GMT
I would like to thank you for this very interesting article. I believe that the IT industry does realise the huge potential of social networking for B2B and although the concept is still pretty ’fresh’, using social networks as a way for businesses to communicate and recruit could prove to be pivotal for the future of IT. Web 2.0 technologies are ’old news’ now, but it is the way businesses chose to utilise them that will ultimately change the way internal and external collaboration takes place. Using closed social networks for recruiting, retaining or attracting staff is always going to successful, so in my opinion, corporations should sit up and take notice of the power social networks can have on a business. http://brandstation.tv/]]>

10 Tips for Evaluating Ediscovery Solutionshttp://www.windowsitpro.com/article/windows-client/10-tips-for-evaluating-ediscovery-solutions#commentsAnchorMon, 09 Jun 2008 11:08:01 GMT
Ben- I agree public statements of wrongdoing intolerance can be positive, however, companies and individuals have to be careful with such statements. If they don’t follow up on complaints, those same statements can hurt them. With or without these statements, ediscovery is becoming more and more important as our communications shift from paper memos, letters, and reports to electronic communications. It’s best to at least have a company retention policy in place to guide your employees and establish the business practice in case of litigation. --Todd]]>

Todd: E-discovery reflects the natural collision of technology and legal practice. As an enterprise creates an ever-growing mountain of records, adversaries of course want access to it. Knowing that litigation and e-discovery are inevitable, an enterprise can use technology proactively to make records more benign.
