The Digital HiNote Ultra 2000 uses the Chips & Technology 65554. You can run the computer on Windows 3.1 - XP comfortably (I recommend XP for practicality in the modern world as long as you have at least the 233MHz cpu Pentium MMX.)
I have the Windows NT 4.0 disk if anyone is still looking for it, I also have a driver collection for Windows XP.
I have the GTX5266M with 144MB RAM, 40GB HDD.
The laptop is capable of running opera 11 (suggested browser for this laptop on XP), The Zune program, and pidgen messenger for communication.

I would reccomend this laptop to anyone who wanted a strong vintage laptop, for it is quite capable for it’s time. As a showing of how amazing this laptop is, I’m listening to Faint by Linkin Park on Zune, while typing and posting this comment using Opera 11.]]>

Hmm, dual Slot-1? What kind of AGP slot does it have? 1x? 2x? Probably not 4x, not if it’s that old. I’m here because a local guy has one for sale cheap, upgraded to dual PIII/600s and half a gig of memory, and I thought it might make a decent gaming rig for CPU-intensive games, but if I can’t use my GF3 video card in it...]]>

Using the link provided by G. Alexandru above, I was able to download newer Version 1.8, which also works with my XP system. Version 1.8 has some improved features, including ability to stitch photos to make a panoramic. If you need help with PhotoWise, please contact me by e-mail at: robertbaptista@hotmail.com.]]>

Agfa has dropped its line of digital cameras and doesn’t support the Photowise software. It’s outdated anyway. You can get images from the camera with Dell Image Studio (comes free with Dell PC) or Adobe Photoshop LE. Other possibilities are the free image editing software downloads on the Internet-just use the Google search.]]>

Dual 333MHz Pentium Processorshttp://www.windowsitpro.com/article/product-review/dual-333mhz-pentium-processors#commentsAnchorWed, 11 Aug 1999 11:14:38 GMT
In my job with Compaq Computers, I analyze product reviews every day. I must be honest and say that I’m starting to hate reviews. However, I really enjoyed Brian Gallagher’s “Dual 333MHz Pentium II Processors” (July) because it explained the technology the products use and described the benchmark tests. Thank you! I analyze reviews for all of Compaq’s products, and I’m still learning what the different technologies do for each product. I found the sidebar “The OpenGL API: What Is It, and Why Should You Care?” especially useful.

Network Backup Softwarehttp://www.windowsitpro.com/article/storage/network-backup-software#commentsAnchorTue, 10 Aug 1999 15:11:38 GMT
In Brian Gallagher’s February article, “Network Backup Software,” he states, “To be fair, NT networks should have their hosts files configured, if only to support programs such as SM-arch.” I vehemently disagree with this statement because decent software should use NT native forms of name resolution, not some relic of UNIX, and NT often checks the Hosts file first when doing name resolution. If there is an error in that file, troubleshooting can be impossible.
