Using SQL Server’s DMO

To use DMO from VB, follow these simple rules:

  • Include the SQL DMO type library
  • Create a SQL Server object
  • Connect the SQL Server object to SQL Server
  • Use the SQL Server objects
  • Disconnect from SQL Server

    This has been extremely USELESS. The exe dosnt work and the code isnt posted.

    I have developed the application based on Microsoft SQL DMO object. But when i run it after installing the application on on fresh machine, it gives error - cannot create activeX object. I have included the sqldemo.dll in my setup. Is it possible to run the application to run without MSSQL server / client installtion , Can you suggest me the answer
