Do you know an easy way to determine the SID of a Windows group?

You can easily determine a group's SID by using the Whoami command-line utility. To do so, add yourself as a member to the group whose SID you want to retrieve. Then type the following Whoami command at the command prompt:

whoami /groups /sid

This command displays all your group memberships and their SIDs.

The SIDs are automatically displayed when you use "whoami /groups" /sid is an invalid option.
