Better Email Shortcut 2

I read "Outlook New Mail Message Shortcut" with interest. I have an easier method for creating an Outlook shortcut. Create a new shortcut, and in the command-line field, enter the location of your outlook.exe file and add /c "IPM.Note" (e.g., "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe" /c "IPM.Note"). Name the shortcut New Mail.

You can change IPM.Note to create a shortcut for each Outlook item.

  • Use IPM.Appointment for a new Appointment item.
  • Use IPM.Contact for a new Contact item.
  • Use IPM.Activity for a new Journal item.
  • Use IPM.Stickynote for a new Note item.
  • Use IPM.Task for a new Task item.
  • Use IPM.Post for a new Post item.
