When you install (Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications) and NFS (Network File System) on Windows Server 2003 R2 that is running IIS (Internet Information Services), the System event log records:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: SUA
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1013
Date: MM/DD/YYYY
Time: HH:MM:SS
User: N/A
Computer: <Computer Name>
Description: Could not connect to Mapping Server at host localhost:while connecting : RPC: Success

This behavior will occur if SUA is configured to start Automatically.

To workaround this behavior:

1. Start / Run / Serices.msc / OK.

2. Double-click the SUA Subsystem Startup service.

3. Toggle the Startup type to Manual.

4. Press Apply and OK.
