Blade Server. Dell also won Best Blade Server for its PowerEdge 1855. The PowerEdge 1855 supports as many as two Intel Xeon processors and 12GB of memory. It includes integrated Ultra320 SCSI and RAID 1 controllers and can support as many as two hot-pluggable SCSI hard drives.

You can fit 10 PowerEdge 1855 servers in Dell's 7U (12.25") enclosure and as many as 60 servers in 42U (73.5") of standard rack space. Both the servers and the enclosure components are hot-pluggable for maximum datacenter uptime even after a failure.

You guys are nuts! We evaluated the Dell "Blades" and within a week of running, 80% of them burned up! I mean smoke burning! these things were the cheesiest, most flimsy, pieces of crap that tried to pass for a server we had ever seen! They are not even in the same class as the HP or IBM blades...We ended up going HP because of the better management and reliability...

Everyone must be kidding. Dell Blades do not support Quads, AMD, Cisco, Brocade, McData, SATA. How can Dell even be cmmpared to HP, IBM or ClearCube. Publishing that Dell was #1 does your readers a disservice.
