We've just launched a new content section to our Web site: Blogs !

The first blog to be launched is this one, Security Matters. In this section you'll find myself and other authors posting tips, ideas, essays, useful resources, and other information that you might find useful for increasing your security knowledge and awareness.

If you use an RSS feed reader then consider adding this blog to your feed reader software by subscribing to our Security RSS feed, which includes this blog as well as the new articles from the Security Administrator Web site.

With that said, here's a little tidbit I learned today regarding a new book:

"
The Tao of Network Security Monitoring, Beyond Intrusion Detection ," has just been released by publisher Addison-Wesley. The book is written Richard Bejtlich and costs $44.99 if you buy it directly from publisher.

In case you wonder whether Amazon.com has it for sale cheaper the answer is no.
Amazon's current price is $49.99.

If you're interested in the book then you can view
an outline at the publisher's Web site where you'll also find a few comments about the book from notable industry personalities such as Marcus Ranum.
