Need help troubleshooting IIS authentication? Microsoft released a new tool, Access Control Diagnostics 1.0 (AuthDiag), that can analyze metabase info and policies to look for potential problems. The tool can also help correct any problem areas. AuthDiag also includes a tool called AuthMon, which can capture authentication problems as they occur in realtime. You can download AuthDiag for 32-bit and 64-bit versions of IIS at Microsoft's Download Center.
