Securing Windows Vista Services

As you might know, services in Vista are better protected than are the services in previous versions of Windows. But do you know how Microsoft hardens Vista services?

This month in the company's security newsletter, Microsoft published an article, "Services Hardening in Windows Vista," that helps explain.

"Services have been hardened and secured in Windows Vista in four ways: running services with Least Privilege, Service Isolation, Restricted Network Access, and Session 0 Isolation."
