To help thwart illegitimate copies of its Processor-in-a-Box (PIB) technology, AMD has added new holographic labels to ensure authenticity. The new labels, which appear on the bottom left corner of the processor cases, reveal a different pattern of dots depending on the angle the label is viewed from. For information on how to ensure your AMD processors are genuine visit the company's PIB Security Web page.
