Figuring Out Replication

How do I set up Windows NT 4.0 replication, and how does it work?

Replication can be a powerful process, but it's slow and nonintuitive. To enable replication, you first need to configure the export server (which must be a server) as well as the import machines (which usually are servers but can be NT workstations). The Microsoft article "Configuring Windows NT for Replication" (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q101/6/02.asp) provides detailed steps of the process.
