I used to swear by speed disk. I've used NU since the early 90's (all the way back to windows 3.1 days and Norton Desktop) and I've got to say that systemworks for win 2k xp leaves much to be desired.

...Speed Disk in particular.

PerfectDisk 2000 is the way to go. Not only does it do a great job defraging the disk in XP but you can also determine EXACTLY where files are on the disk using the find file/diskmap features.

This product blows away Speed Disk, especially since Speed Disk isn't Certified to ensure against data loss and corruption! Disk Keeper 5.0 is much worse than both of these products, being a multi-pass defragger and all. Who evaluates these products and which rock did they crawl out from under?
