Longhorn: Apres Whistler?

After all the name changes (e.g., Whistler, Windows XP, Windows .NET Server) at Microsoft this year, you'll be happy to hear that the company apparently isn't picking names at random. For example, take the Longhorn code name for the recently announced XP follow-up. At the foot of Whistler Mountain in British Columbia lies the Longhorn saloon, which serves the local skiing population. If you're ever in that area and want to take in some local color, Longhorn is a nice stop ... after you're finished with Whistler.

So if Whistler were named Teton, Longhorn would be named Mangey Moose.
