Windows IT Pro conducted its IT Industry Survey 2005 from August 23, 2005 to September 6, 2005. We sent invitations to 70,000 Windows IT professionals who have agreed to receive a variety of additional information from us. We promoted the survey in our UPDATE email newsletters and on our Web site. We offered two $300 American Express gift certificates, awarded to two randomly chosen survey respondents, as an incentive to participate in the survey. A TOTAL OF 1728 RESPONDENTS PROVIDED DATA for the 61-question survey by the close date on September 6.
