A. When you use a Unimodem the device.log no longer captures the
command however you can create an alternate log file to capture the modem
commands:
- Start the Modems control panel applet (Start - Settings - Control Panel -
Modems)
- Select the modem for which a log file should be created
- Click Properties
- Click the Connection tab
- Click Advanced
- Select the 'Record a Log File' check box. There is no need to restart the
computer
The log file will be created in the %systemroot% directory with name MODEMLOG_<modem>.TXT.
