Good news, Pocket PC fans: A market analysis firm recently announced that the Windows CE—based platform will eventually dominate current market leader Palm. The bad news? Pocket PCs won't take the lead until 2005, which is eons away in computer time (and 2 years after the Battle for the Planet of the Apes). The Aberdeen Group says handheld PC (H/PC) sales will grow 30 percent each year for the foreseeable future and that the Pocket PC's benefit to the enterprise will be the deciding factor in its emergence over Palm machines.
