Palm Pre Available June 6

Windows IT Pro
InstantDoc ID #102142
Rating: (0)

Since news of the Pre first hit the industry press, there has been an uproar of excitement. The Pre is the only smartphone that industry writers have firmly stated could truly compete with the iPhone in terms of usability. (While BlackBerry Storm and T-Mobile's G1 were both at one point rumored to be "iPhone killers," most reviewers determined shortly after the release that the devices couldn't compete.)

The Pre will be available for $199.99 with a 2-year Sprint contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate. The Pre will be available in Sprint stores, as well as big-box outlets such as Best Buy, Radio Shack, and some Wal-Mart stores. Visit Sprint's page on the Pre for a full list of coverage on the release.
