Internally, IIS uses numbers, not Web site names, to distinguish between virtual Web sites. IIS assigns the Web number in sequence as you create new sites. You can use MetaEdit 2.1 to determine the Web site number. MetaEdit is available at http://support.microsoft.com/ support/kb/articles/q232/0/68.asp, or type

C:\inetpub\adminscripts\cscript findweb.vbs "Web Site Name"

where Web Site Name is the name that appears in the Internet Service Manager (ISM) for the Web site. (This name is case sensitive.)
