When you join your Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003, to an Active Directory domain, the client may not synchronize its time with the domain time source.
This behavior will occur if the client is NOT configured to synchronize with an Internet time server when you connect
it to an Active Directory domain.
To workaround this issue, configure the client to synchronize with an Internet time server before you join the
Active Directory domain:
1. Start / Run / TimeDate.cpl / OK.
2. Select the Internet Time tab.
3. Check the Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server box.
4. Press OK.
