JSI Tip 4586. How do I perform an authoritative restore of a Windows 2000(+) domain controller?

After you restore the System State in Active Directory Restore Mode:

1. Open a CMD prompt.

2. Type ntdsutil and press Enter.

3. Type authoritative restore and press Enter.

4. Type restore database and press Enter.

5. Press OK.

6. Press Yes.
