JSI Tip 2870. The graphical IPConfig utility is NOT installed with the Windows 2000 Resource Kit?

Windows 2000 contains a command line IPConfig utility.

When you look at the tools included in the Windows 2000 Resource Kit, you do not see a graphical IPConfig utility.

The Windows 2000 Resource Kit does contain a graphical IPConfig utility, but it is NOT installed by default.

To install the graphical IPConfig utility, Wntipcfg.exe:

1. Browse the Windows 2000 Resource Kit CD-ROM.

2. Double-click Netmgmt.cab.

3. Copy Wntipcfg.exe to %SystemRoot%\System32.
