When you press Start / Settings / Taskbar & Start Menu / Advanced, you can check or uncheck the following:

Display Administrative Tools: - Adds the Administrative Tools menu to the Programs menu. 
                                The default is checked. 

Display Favorites:            - Adds the Favorites menu to the Start menu. 
                                The default is unchecked. 

Display Logoff:               - Adds a logoff command to the Start menu. 
                                The default is unchecked. 

Expand Control Panel:         - Adds the contents of Control Panel as a fly-out of the Control Panel menu.
                                The default is unchecked. 

Expand My Documents:          - Adds the contents of the My Documents folder as a fly-out of the My Documents menu.
                                The default is unchecked. 

Expand Network and Dial-Up    - Adds the contents of Network and Dial-Up Connections  as a fly-out of the Network and Dial-Up Connections menu.
Networking Connections:         The default is unchecked.

Expand Printers:              - Adds the contents of the Printers folder under the Printers menu. 
                                The default is unchecked. 

Scroll the Programs Menu:     - Changes the Programs menu to scroll the contents.
                                The default is unchecked. 

Use Personlized Menus:        - See tip 2118.
                                The default is checked.
