Q. Where can I obtain Windows XP SP3?

A. XP SP3 is available from Windows Update, or you can download the network-installation package from the "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT Professionals and Developers" website. After downloading the network-installation package, you can extract the service pack to a specified location by running the downloaded executable file and the /x switch, as this example shows.
