Q. I'm trying to install Adobe Flash Player on my 64-bit Windows Vista machine, but I get a message that my platform isn’t supported. What should I do?

A. I recently lost Flash capability in my web browser, and when I visited the Adobe site to download Flash Player, I got the platform not supported error, as the following screen shows.

The fix for me was to download the Flash Player installer directly from Adobe and install it that way. You can also download it from this Adobe page, which also provides older versions of Flash Player.
