A. Bing is Microsoft's new online search portal, located at bing.com. The site has some very cool new features, some of which I'll talk about here.

Bing's search capability is sensitive to the type of information being searched for and brings up information on the search results that is more relevant. In the example below, I searched for FedEx and Bing brought up a page with major links and the ability to track a package. It does the same thing for other types of sites. For example, search for Amazon and you get a link to search for items within Amazon.com.

As shown in the screen below, you can search for the word weather and Bing will find the Weather for your location based on IP information

You can also get information for traffic. This time I wanted information for Allen, TX.

This context level information applies to other searches. Try searching for directions from one location to another, a pop star you like, or an electronics product such as a camera. You'll find not only search results, but also other groupings of relevant information.
