One of the benefits of having an always-on Internet connection is the ease with which you can follow the Web links in electronic newsletters and Adobe Acrobat PDF files. If you're like me, you often have several Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) browser windows open at one time. When you follow a link, IE can reuse one of your existing browser windows to display the new link. Personally, I'd rather that IE leave my existing windows alone. You can easily instruct IE to open a new browser window when following a link. Start IE and select Internet Options from the Tools menu. Select the Advanced tab. In the Browsing section, clear the Reuse windows for launching shortcuts check box. Click Apply and restart IE. Following a link will now cause IE to open a new window rather than reuse an existing window.
