In a close race, Emergent OnLine edged out ACCPAC International's ACCPAC Online to win the Readers' Choice award for Best Application Service Provider. Emergent OnLine was a runner-up in last year's awards. Readers appreciate Emergent OnLine's customer service and strong Citrix ties. "They're the best at everything they do. Every support person they have sent over has been an expert's expert," reader Mike Roberts said.

Emergent OnLine leverages expertise in the areas of server-based computing, application and network management, deployment, security, and tele-communications to provide access to centrally hosted applications. The company boasts a Cisco Systemspowered T1 Internet backbone and offers a variety of e-commerce solutions, security services, VPNs, connectivity services, and hosting solutions. Emergent OnLine's Internet Packaged Application Deployment (iPAD) services let clients outsource application deployment, hosting, monitoring, and management.
