Making .msi Files

WinINSTALL LE makes old applications Windows Installer friendly
Anything that helps me easily get software onto—and more importantly, off of—my computer makes me happy. So, I like the one-click-does-it-all nature of Windows Installer files (i.e., .msi files). But Windows 2000 Ready .msi-formatted applications are scarce, so anyone who wants to make extensive use of .msi files needs to create those files. Fortunately, Win2K Server ships with VERITAS Software's WinINSTALL Limited Edition (LE) tool, which accomplishes ".msi-zing"; unfortunately, you need to do a bit of tinkering to create the perfect .msi file.

In the spring/summer of 2003 the portion of Chicago-Soft that engineered WALLS was bought by Novadigm. One of the results was that the WALLS application was integrated into one of Novadigm's services called Radia.
hope this helps

Outstanding reading and extremely easy to understand. You'd have to be a complete idiot not to be able to understand this information. Don't waste your time making a powerpoint presentation. You've done enough.....Best wishes and continued success... :-)

Very Informative and Very Easy to Understand.

Thank you for documenting experience with the process. The microsoft knowledge base articles do not give such value.

I could not find walls at WWW.Chicago-Soft.Com.
that was disappointing.
