Services are definitely an area for concern but I don't think all services listed are dangerous. I think this article might egg on over zealous security Nazis. Security is subjective depending on the company's needs such as type of business, size, and company policy. DMZ's absolutely lock them down, corporate LAN's it really depends, you don't want to unnecessarily pee off the natives.
