Q. When you try to publish a DFS (Distributed File System) namespace root in Windows Server 2003 it is not published?

When you use the Publish this root in Active Directory option in Windows Server 2003 to publish a DFS (Distributed File System) namespace root, it is not published.

This behavior occurs because the Publish this root in Active Directory option is not compatible with Windows Server 2003.

NOTE: Microsoft has removed the Publish this root in Active Directory option from Windows Server 2003 R2.
