Iceland’s capital city, Reykjavík, is the place to be for both IT and security professionals for the Dive Deeper Security Summit 08 on February 28 and 29 which is being hosted by iSoft and supported by Windows IT Pro.

The Windows IT Pro EMEA team has been collaborating with Dive Deeper events for some time now and regular readers of our previous UK newsletter will be familiar with the educational activities of Scotland-based Andy Malone, Microsoft MVP, MCT and MCSE, who heads up this event. Joining him will be Marcus J. Carey CISSP from Computer Sciences Corp’s Global Security Solutions organization. Carey is currently assigned to the DC3's Defense Cyber Crime Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) as a researcher and instructor and used to work for the U.S. Navy Cryptologic Security Group.

The aim of the Dive Deeper Security Summit 08 is to fast-track your security skills and get straight to the point in two jam-packed days covering everything from identity theft to hacking and Windows Server 2008 to Linux and Cisco.

For the full agenda and registration, see the Deeper Security Summit 08 website: http://www.divedeeperevents.com/eddetail.php

By the way, we will be taking the Dive Deeper events to Dubai and Cairo as well as selected countries in Europe in a few months time, so watch out for further details.
