EBS provides fully certified and supported configurations that can scale from entry-level workgroups to enterprise-level data centers capable of backing up terabytes of information. EBS supports a broad selection of backup applications, tape technologies, and OSs and can reduce costs compared with standalone tape drives distributed across the enterprise. HP's solution serves as a foundation for a multi-tier data-protection strategy based on different Quality of Service (QoS) levels. Integration and certification of interconnects and disk arrays ensures seamless operation, and you can obtain even greater efficiencies by adding technologies such as snapshots and serverless backups.
