Does Windows 2000 include an update of the Chkdsk application? I'm tired of needing to reboot to run a true disk scan (i.e., one that fixes problems).
Win2K, Windows NT Service Pack 6 (SP6), and NT SP5 introduced several new NTFS switches for Chkdsk. The /i switch performs a moderate check of index entries, and the /c switch stops checking cycles within the directory structure.
