A. Exchange 2007 (including SP1) doesn't use RODCs and essentially ignores them. The Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 client can use RODCs that are also Global Catalog (GC) servers (to access the Global Address List, for example). You can even force Outlook 2007 to use a specific GC server by following the instructions in the Microsoft article "How to configure Outlook to a specific global catalog server or to the closest global catalog server."
